Title- Test and Evaluation Data Analyst
Location- Oxon Hill, MD (National Harbor)- Hybrid (3 days on site and 2 Days Remote)
Contract- Contract to Perm Hire

Must Haves from Manager:
- An ideal person will likely have done application testing in government/government contracting roles.
- Must be proficient using an automated testing technology such as JAWS for Section 508 compliance screen reading and a minimum of 1 year experience testing for 508 accessibility compliance.
- This role is also primarily an application QA/testing position, with added responsibility for test data management and analysis.
- Should have some experience in 508/accessibility testing
- Focuses on end-to-end application testing (web apps and PDFs), including functional, regression, and test execution during UAT and early UAT phases.
- Responsible for ownership of test data and validation, including managing and preparing test datasets, validating data accuracy.
- Responsible for building and executing test plans, test scripts, and evaluation procedures, with some expectation to help shape testing strategy.
- Bachelors & 6 years or if they have No Degree they need 12 years of experience.

Test and Evaluation Data Analyst / Compliance Tester
Seeking a Test and Evaluation Data Analyst to join the team. As a Compliance Tester, you will be responsible for the 508‐compliance testing, usability testing, and quality testing for FEMA web‐based products and content. In this role you will be part of a high‐performing development team working with customer product managers to support existing web application and web re‐design efforts. This candidate will follow testing procedures, performing accessibility audits based on Section 508 compliance standards, documenting detailed findings on identified issues, and recommending potential solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform Section 508 compliance tests on web products and content (e.g., PDFs).
- Execute test scripts for website design, functionality, content, and related testing specifications for efficiency and immediate alerts of failure in quality.
- Support development and maintain test libraries including test, training, and validation data and procedures for functional, performance, and regression testing.
- Maintain the FEMA repository of all O&M documentation and support activities.
- Utilize Client Maestro tools including Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, design, and develop training modules and artifacts.
- Collaborate with cross‐functional teams including leads, developers, project managers, and graphics teams.
- Attain Client accessibility training including Client Trusted Tester accreditation to ensure websites and products are tested and validated as accessibility compliant according to Section 508.
- Ensure compliance with Client mandates, policies, and guidelines including Section 508 Accessibility laws, IT regulations, SOPs, and program processes.
- Maintain Client‐required 508 certifications such as Trusted Tester.
- Promote collaboration with a team‐centric attitude and enthusiasm that encourages outreach and partnership.
- Create test scripts to perform quality assurance on data migration processes, data integrity, and reporting before releasing the solution to the TDL environment for integration testing and UAT.
- Support integration and acceptance testing including performance stress testing (if needed) and system test and evaluation (ST&E) to validate the solution meets the Mitigation mission, applicable regulations, and FEMA Security standards.
- Support IV&V testing for approval of the application and supporting documentation.
- Perform 508 compliance testing in the COCO environments.
- Perform security testing/scanning in the COCO environments.
Qualifications
Required
- Ability to obtain a FEMA Entrance on Duty (EOD)
- BA + 6 years experience or equivalency (MA + 2 years applicable experience, 11 years applicable experience, or AA + 7 years applicable experience)
- Proficient using an automated testing technology such as JAWS for Section 508 compliance screen reading
- A minimum of 1 year experience testing for 508 accessibility compliance
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Strong initiative to proactively establish relationships, find opportunities to innovate and improve value, and provide new ideas for improvement
- Able to understand the day‐to‐day operational needs of customers and identify areas for improvement in business processes and propose solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
