Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Data Science Engineer to join our AI Tribe. This individual will be responsible for implementing cutting-edge data science solutions, leveraging their expertise to tackle complex business challenges and contribute to development and delivery targets. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in data engineering and data science, a deep understanding of the latest methodologies and technologies, and a proven track record of delivering impactful results in a cloud-based environment, preferably Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Key Responsibilities

Data Science Execution:

Deliver data science projects aligned with business objectives.

Plan and implement key data science initiatives in a timely manner.

Implement parts or the entire data science lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model development, deployment, and evaluation.

Technical Expertise:

Demonstrate a deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.

Build and deploy predictive models, recommender systems, and other data-driven solutions.

Hands-on experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, AI Platform, Airflow or similar).

Communication and Collaboration:

Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business stakeholders, to translate business requirements into data science solutions.

Present findings and recommendations to managers.

Innovation and Research:

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.

Explore and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to improve effectiveness and drive innovation.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related field.

Proven track record of developing and deploying data science solutions that have delivered tangible business impact.
