Compensation: Market-competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $55,000 – $90,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Claims Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims. The role combines investigative rigor with empathetic communication — moving claims to resolution efficiently and fairly.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate claims by reviewing documentation, conducting interviews, and gathering evidence
Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages against policy terms
Negotiate and settle claims within authority limits
Coordinate with attorneys, medical providers, and third-party experts as needed
Maintain accurate, timely claim file documentation
Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations and unfair claims practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
Active adjuster license in your jurisdiction
2+ years in claims adjusting (auto, property, casualty, or workers' comp)
Strong investigative and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, including negotiation
Familiarity with claims management systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, etc.)
Detail-oriented with robust file documentation discipline
