Salary:

$85,000 - $90,000 per year

We are currently in search of a dynamic and highly skilled Power BI Data Analyst to join our team in the construction industry.

This is a permanent, remote position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals, utilizing cutting-edge technology to drive business decisions and optimize operations.

The Power BI Data Analyst will be responsible for creating and managing BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, retail, e-commerce, data visualization, reports, dashboards, predictive models, process automation, workflow optimization, interactive dashboards, and data models.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
• Perform detailed data analysis (i.e., determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples).
• Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
• Design and build technical processes to address business issues.
• Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
• Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining, and engineering as well as modeling, visualization, and communication deliverables.
• Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Extensive knowledge in generating process documentation.
• Strong proficiency with Power BI, data modeling, report and dashboard generation.
• Solid experience in data analysis and retail/e-commerce.
• Proven abilities in predictive modeling and process automation.
• Excellent skills in workflow optimization and interactive dashboard creation.

Preferred Certifications:

Power BI Data Analyst, Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), APICS, CPIM, or CBIM.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with team members from different backgrounds.
• High level of experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases.
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
• Understanding of addressing and managing data privacy and security concerns.
• Experience with cloud services (DigitalOcean, AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
