Well-Funded, venture backed startup is looking for a Product Designer to join their growing team! This startup is partnered with big names in the crypto space and is a core contributor to a crypto liquidity aggregator and a mobile trading app used by over half of a million users. In this role you will be their first product design hire and play a large role in creating intuitive, high-performance experiences tailored to a diverse customer base.

From wallet applications to low-latency trading environments, your designs will address complex challenges with simplicity and elegance. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to shape industry-defining products in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Job DetailsResponsibilities

• Design user experiences for crypto-native brokerages and high-frequency trading firms, solving unique challenges for each audience.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility while preserving design intent.
• Build and maintain a cohesive design system to ensure product consistency.
• Conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate on designs for enhanced usability.
• Define product requirements and align designs with strategic business goals.
• Establish and uphold design standards that set the tone for excellence in the company.
• Effectively communicate design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of experience in product design.
• 0 to 1 experience, building and shipping technology products from design to delivery.
• Proven success designing and delivering technology products for consumer and business audiences, preferably in fintech, crypto, or trading.
• Expertise in Figma and proficiency in prototyping tools for clear idea communication.
• Strong user-focused mindset with the ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive designs.
• Portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work, from concept to launch.
• Collaborative experience working with engineers and product teams to deliver impactful, feasible designs.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable navigating fast-paced, evolving environments.
