Job Details
Responsibilities
Serve as lead counsel on commercial leasing transactions
Draft and negotiate a wide range of leasing documents, including:
Letters of intent
Work letters
Assignment and transfer agreements
Lender subordination agreements and SNDAs
Advise clients on market lease terms and related risk considerations
Represent primarily landlord clients across office, retail, and industrial assets
Manage leasing matters from initial negotiation through execution
Interface directly with clients, brokers, property managers, and opposing counsel
Collaborate with partners and mentor junior attorneys as appropriate
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in commercial leasing
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
Strong experience with office, retail, and industrial leasing
Deep understanding of leasing market standards
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
Experience representing landlords
Exposure to multi-asset or portfolio leasing
