Accountabilities:
The Marketing and Events Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and improving global event marketing programs while ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. This role requires strong project management skills, creativity, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver successful campaigns and memorable event experiences.
- Coordinate and execute a variety of global in-person and virtual events, including conferences, trade shows, webinars, regional activations, and client engagements.
- Manage event logistics such as venues, vendors, registrations, accommodations, promotional materials, budgets, and post-event activities.
- Partner with sales teams, executives, and internal stakeholders to support event strategies and ensure successful execution.
- Manage marketing technology platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and event tracking tools to support campaign performance and reporting.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate events into broader multi-channel campaigns.
- Develop and coordinate event-related content, promotional materials, social media assets, and creative campaigns in partnership with internal teams.
- Oversee onsite event operations, including setup, attendee engagement, booth or session management, vendor coordination, and event closure.
- Apply creative problem-solving to enhance event experiences and introduce innovative approaches throughout the event lifecycle.
- Ensure all communications and materials align with brand standards and applicable industry requirements.
- Conduct post-event analysis to evaluate performance, identify improvements, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings strong B2B marketing experience, excellent organizational abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex events from planning through execution. They should be comfortable working with marketing technology, collaborating with senior stakeholders, and delivering results in a highly collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing B2B events and marketing initiatives.
- Experience planning and executing conferences, trade shows, webinars, and client-facing events.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including LinkedIn and marketing automation tools.
- Experience using marketing and sales platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling marketing content.
- Experience building trusted relationships with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industries is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or Microsoft Teams is a plus.
- Experience with digital event management platforms is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support major industry events.
