Role Overview:

As a Manager/Senior Manager, Subscription Marketing at JioSaavn located in Navi Mumbai, India, you will be tasked with leading the end-to-end communication and performance marketing strategy for JioSaavn's subscription products: Pro and Plus. This role is ideal for a brand-focused and data-driven marketer with expertise in subscription-based product marketing, particularly in the Music OTT or Video OTT space. Your responsibilities will include shaping and managing the brand identity of JioSaavn Subscriptions, driving subscriber engagement, and creating impactful campaigns through Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) initiatives and performance marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the brand positioning for JioSaavn Pro and Plus subscriptions.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, subscriber acquisition, and retention.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize performance marketing campaigns across paid media channels (Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, affiliates, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Design and implement CLM strategies to engage subscribers throughout their lifecycle, focusing on acquisition, onboarding, retention, and upsell opportunities.
  • Use data-driven insights to segment audiences and optimize conversion and retention campaigns.
  • Run win-back and churn mitigation campaigns to improve subscriber lifetime value.
  • Partner with internal and external creative teams to develop world-class creative assets that resonate with music and video streaming audiences.
  • Run A/B tests on creative messaging, landing pages, and offers to optimize conversion rates.
  • Analyze subscriber data, campaign performance, and user behavior to refine strategies and deliver measurable results.
  • Work closely with the data analytics team to build dashboards and track KPIs, ensuring marketing strategies are backed by actionable insights.
  • Leverage insights to personalize communication and optimize ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).

Qualifications Required:

  • 5 years of experience in performance marketing and brand marketing, preferably with a focus on subscription products. Experience in Music OTT or Video OTT industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong expertise in building and managing brand identities, with a knack for storytelling, as well as a deep understanding of data analytics and performance marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful CLM and paid marketing strategies to drive subscriber engagement and retention.
  • Ability to use data and analytics tools to measure, optimize, and scale marketing efforts effectively.
