About The Opportunity

A leading Consumer Durables/FMCD organization is looking for an experienced logistics leader to head its end-to-end logistics function. This strategic role will be responsible for driving transportation, warehousing, distribution, network optimization, and logistics excellence across a large and complex supply chain. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of operational expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership experience, with a proven track record of building efficient logistics networks, optimizing costs, improving service levels, and leading large cross-functional teams.

CTC: Up to - 50~60 LPA

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end logistics function, including transportation, warehousing, distribution, inventory movement, and last-mile delivery.
• Develop and execute logistics strategies aligned with business growth, customer service, and cost optimization objectives.
• Drive network optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce logistics costs, and enhance service levels.
• Oversee transportation planning, freight management, warehouse operations, and inventory deployment across multiple locations.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with transporters, C&F agents, warehouse partners, and third-party logistics providers.
• Monitor and improve key logistics KPIs including OTIF, freight cost, inventory movement, warehouse productivity, and delivery performance.
• Collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
• Lead contract negotiations, vendor performance management, and logistics partner development.
• Drive automation, digitization, and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and organizational governance.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing logistics teams while fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Ideal Candidate

• 10-15 years of progressive experience in Logistics, Transportation, Distribution, or Supply Chain Management.
• Proven leadership experience managing large-scale logistics operations within Consumer Durables, FMCD, FMCG, Consumer Electronics, Electricals, Manufacturing, or Retail organizations.
• Strong expertise in transportation management, warehousing, network design, freight optimization, inventory movement, and third-party logistics.
• Experience managing large logistics budgets, strategic vendor partnerships, and multi-location operations.
• Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP and Transport/Warehouse Management Systems.
• Demonstrated ability to drive transformation, cost optimization, process excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong business acumen, stakeholder management, negotiation, and people leadership skills.
