Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Labourer role based in Stony plain , Alberta, Canada. The Labourer will assist with general construction and matting tasks, including loading and unloading materials, preparing and cleaning work areas, and supporting the installation and removal of matting or related equipment, rebiulding rig mats.

Daily duties may include operating basic hand tools, helping with site setup and teardown, following directions from supervisors, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role requires adherence to safety procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment, and collaboration with other crew members to meet project schedules. The Labourer is expected to maintain a strong work ethic, be punctual, and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods.
• Basic skills in using hand tools and equipment commonly found on construction or industrial sites.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices and willingness to follow company safety policies and use PPE.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time schedules, including potential overtime or varied shifts when required.
• Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to take direction from supervisors and work cooperatively with others.
• Previous experience in construction, matting, industrial labour, or related fields is an asset but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Alberta worksites is preferred.
• Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to work outdoors in different weather and site conditions.
