Job Summary
Grain Farm Spring / Summer Employment (with chance of continuing all year)
We are a family operated seed grain producer and processor, located along the east perimeter of Winnipeg, MB in the RM of Springfield.
We are looking for an energetic, dependable farm hand to join our team.
This is an ideal opportunity for high school, university or college students looking for consistent, full-time work over the spring/summer months with a potential to transition to part time in the fall around school schedules.
We are willing to train the right candidate- no extensive farming background required.
The role
- Physical labor and lifting over 50lbs.
- Operating various yard and farm equipment (training provided).
- Assisting with seed bagging and general farm duties.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 MB driver license.
- Reliable transportation to East Perimeter, no bus route.
- Able to work flexible hours (including days, evenings and weekends during peak times)
- Comfortable working in a strictly smoke and scent free environment.
- Must be from the area of Winnipeg or surrounding towns.
