Job description
Position Summary
We are the team behind Envelopes.com, JAM Paper, and Folders.com. For decades, we've been trusted by businesses, schools, organizations, and consumers for high-quality envelopes, stationery, folders, labels, and office products. While our brands have a long history and strong reputation, we're anything but complacent.
We're investing heavily in ecommerce, AI, customer experience, and experimentation to build a faster, smarter, more customer-centric marketing organization. We're looking for someone who believes marketing is more than managing a calendar and launching promotions - someone naturally curious, highly organized, deeply customer-focused, and constantly asking: "How can we make this campaign more relevant? More memorable? More effective?"
As our Ecommerce Marketing Manager, you'll become the operational heartbeat of our marketing organization. You'll partner closely with our General Manager of Ecommerce to transform growth priorities into coordinated campaigns across email, paid media, merchandising, creative, onsite promotions, and lifecycle marketing. You'll own the marketing calendar, keep cross-functional teams aligned, and ensure campaigns launch on time and at a high standard. More importantly, you'll help us move away from "checkbox marketing" toward thoughtful, customer-first marketing built around experimentation, segmentation, and continuous improvement.
This role is equal parts marketing strategist, project manager, creative collaborator, and experimenter.
Core Mission
Own the marketing calendar, drive customer-first experimentation, and lead integrated campaign execution across three ecommerce brands - while building an AI-enabled marketing organization that moves faster and smarter than a traditional "checkbox marketing" function.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Marketing Calendar - Own and maintain the master marketing calendar across Envelopes.com, JAM Paper, and Folders.com.
- Coordinate seasonal campaigns, product launches, promotional events, and merchandising priorities
- Ensure every campaign launches on time and all stakeholders remain aligned
Drive Customer-First Marketing - Partner with Ecommerce leadership to develop marketing hypotheses based on customer behavior.
- Design inexpensive, fast experiments to validate ideas before scaling
- Continuously improve how we acquire customers, convert first-time buyers into repeat customers, and build long-term loyalty
- Help us better understand customer segments and create campaigns that genuinely resonate with each audience
Campaign Management - Lead execution of integrated marketing campaigns across email, website merchandising, paid media creative, landing pages, promotional campaigns, and customer lifecycle initiatives.
- Ensure every campaign has clear objectives, success metrics, owners, and deadlines
Creative Leadership - Partner with our graphic design team to develop compelling creative that supports campaign goals.
- Develop creative briefs and provide thoughtful direction and feedback
- Help evolve how our brands show up across every customer touchpoint while maintaining consistency
Cross-Functional Leadership - Coordinate work across merchandising, design, ecommerce, lifecycle marketing, paid media, analytics, customer service, and sales.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to merchandising specialists, ensuring product presentation, promotions, assortment, and onsite merchandising activities support campaign objectives and business priorities
- Become the person everyone trusts to keep projects moving
- Anticipate roadblocks early and proactively solve them before they impact deadlines
Data & Experimentation - Use customer insights and ecommerce metrics to guide marketing decisions.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements based on results
- Be fluent in ecommerce KPIs including Conversion Rate, Average Order Value (AOV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), Retention Rate, Repeat Purchase Rate, and Email Engagement
- You won't be expected to build dashboards, but you should know how to interpret data and turn it into action
AI-First Marketing - We believe AI is changing how great marketing gets done, and we're looking for someone who embraces it as a competitive advantage.
- Generate and refine creative concepts
- Accelerate campaign planning
- Improve copy and messaging
- Analyze customer feedback
- Increase productivity
- Build scalable marketing workflows
- We're looking for someone who is constantly exploring new AI tools and finding smarter ways to work
