Job Description:Key Responsibilities:Video Production: Produce, shoot, and deliver daily news video content in English for various platformsScriptwriting: Write clear, concise, and accurate scripts for video news stories, ensuring that content resonates with the English speaking audience.Research & Content Development: Stay on top of breaking news, research stories, and develop relevant, impactful video news content in English.Storyboarding & Planning: Work with the editorial team to plan, storyboard, and execute video segments that adhere to editorial guidelines and news standards.You may assign Ground Reporting for special occasions.Job Specific Knowledge & SkillsDigital Engagement: Optimize videos for different platforms (social media, YouTube, website), ensuring engagement with the English-speaking audience.Timeliness: Meet tight deadlines, particularly for breaking news and live coverage, and be responsive to real-time news events.Adaptation: Tailor content for a variety of formats and devices, ensuring that videos are optimized for all : Collaboration: Work closely with journalists, reporters, editors, and other content creators to align video content with the overall editorial strategy and news coverage.Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work within a team environment.Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced setting, especially during breaking news events.Qualification & Experience:Journalism Background: Degree in Journalism, Media Studies, or related field.Experience with Digital Media: Experience producing content for social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.Understanding of Broadcast Standards: Familiarity with broadcasting equipment, standards, and production workflows.Why Jagran New MediaWe are a part of a leading conglomerate group and amongst the top 10 digital media companies in India.
