Job Description

iVision Consulting is currently hiring for a Google Cloud Engineer II role to support our federal client's modernization efforts.

  • US citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance required
  • Position is hybrid, local to Rockville or Bethesda, Maryland, position required to be onsite at client 2 days/week

Responsibilities

Under general direction, performs duties such as site surveys, architecture design, system evaluation, system analysis, and infrastructure assessment. The managed system engineer will perform duties on tasks that require expertise in system/processor architecture, wired for management baseline, desktop management interface, SNMP, client/server architecture, operating systems, software applications, network protocols, routers, switches, remote access servers, and firewalls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
  • Five (5) years of technical experience
  • Must Haves: DevSecOps who can establish monitoring of GCP infrastructure, support deployment of GCP services across tiers, update cloud templates; develop CI/CD pipelines

Salary:

$105,000 annual salary
