Job Description
The candidate need to have the following skillset
a) HTML5 (Semantic HTML, Forms & validations, Accessibility basics (ARIA))
b) CSS3 (Flexbox & Grid, Responsive design, Media queries, Basic animations)
c) JavaScript (ES6+ concepts, Promises & async/await, DOM manipulation, Fetch API / Axios, Basic debugging in browser)
Framework Knowledge (At Least One): React / Angular / Vue.js
For PWA-focused projects, React or Angular is commonly preferred.
PWA-Specific Skills The Engineer must understand: Service Workers, Registration, Caching strategies, Offline support, Web App Manifest, Icons, Display modes, Installable app behavior, Caching Strategies, Cache-first, Network-first, Stale-while-revalidate, Push Notifications, Browser push basics, Firebase Cloud Messaging basics
Backend & API Understanding: Even for frontend-heavy roles, they must understand - REST API integration, JSON handling, Authentication (JWT), Error handling
Version Control: Git basics, Branching, Pull requests, Conflict resolution
Familiarity with: GitHub, GitLab
Database Awareness (Optional but Good): Basic idea of -MySQL / PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase
Soft Skills: Debugging ability, Problem-solving, Reading documentation, Writing clean code, Willingness to learn
