Crozier Fine Arts is seeking a highly experienced Art Handling Professional to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of priceless artworks and artifacts during packing, crating, transportation, and installation, while providing leadership on complex projects and acting as a client liaison.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

 In this role, you will:

• Develop and support operations and project management teams in multiple aspects, including packing, crating, installations, rigging, and special equipment utilization.

• Collaborate with Logistics, Projects, and Frontline Teams to schedule, book, and troubleshoot complex workflows using the AIMS system.

• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and client requirements by monitoring complex, large-scale projects from planning and pricing through successful execution on time and within budget.

• Lead site inspections and client visits to accurately assess project scope, risk, and timeline, while developing strong client relationships.

• Assist with the training and mentoring of frontline teams, including implementing and updating the training curriculum.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) 

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8–10+ years of experience in a field operations role within art logistics, including rigging and special equipment certification.

• Strong knowledge of Crozier’s full suite of services and core business back-end processes.

• Proven ability in managing and delivering complex, custom solutions through internal coordination and supervised execution.

• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across several teams/departments.

• Exceptional diligence and attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to efficiently prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.

• Crozier Fine Arts is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Art Handlers to join our Field Team in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of art collections through expert handling, packing, crating, and transportation, while acting as a vital onsite liaison between clients and company management.

  What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  In this role, you will:

• Handle, move, wrap, pack, and crate a diverse range of objects—including fine art, decorative arts, and furniture—using Crozier’s appropriate techniques and materials, with the key output of damage-free preservation and transit preparation.

• Collaborate with clients, driving teams, and company management by acting as the onsite liaison, determining project strategy, and ensuring clear communication and follow-through.

• Ensure compliance with the highest industry standards by planning, organizing, and loading trucks for utmost safety during transit, conducting inspection reports, and maintaining discretion on all projects.

• Install/uninstall art for onsite projects and load/unload trucks to ensure safe transit.

• Spend a small amount of time (approximately 5%) on a laptop/desktop computer or telephone to manage project logistics.

• Minimum 6 months of experience in Art Handling within a gallery, museum, or commercial fine art space.

• Strong knowledge of industry standard techniques and materials for packing, crating, installing, and uninstalling artwork.

• Proven ability in effective communication, self-motivation, attention to detail, and working as a team player.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to regional locations for onsite work.

• Physical Requirement: Willing and able to lift, move, push, and pull heavy objects (in excess of 75 lbs), bend, kneel, crouch, and stand, as well as being willing to work flexible hours based on project needs.
