Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while managing openTable reservations for efficient seating management
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure seamless operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable reservation platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere
• Ability to multitask efficiently with superb time management skills during busy service hours
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with culinary preparation or kitchen operations is a plus for better understanding of menu items
• Effective communication skills for guest relations, upselling, and coordinating with team members
