Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented sales professional to drive business growth, strengthen customer relationships, and achieve revenue targets within the assigned geography. The role involves executing commercial strategies, managing distribution channels, ensuring product availability, and leading a team to maximize market penetration and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the commercial plan assigned by the reporting manager to deliver planned business objectives within the assigned territory.
- Ensure the right product is available at the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantity.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive growth, increase market share, and expand business in the assigned geography.
- Support and execute channel engagement initiatives, promotional campaigns, and Go-To-Market strategies for business success.
- Plan, monitor, and manage the performance and activities of the Market Development Officers (MDOs).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
- Ensure accurate and timely forecasting, order placement, stock liquidation, and collections.
- Monitor sales performance and regularly update commercial activities through Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other digital platforms.
- Ensure effective channel management to maintain stock availability, prompt liquidation, and minimize saleable returns.
- Take ownership of collections across the sales region, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely recovery from customers.
- Collaborate on country/division projects and undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by senior management.

- Expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, preferably Salesforce.com.
- Strong understanding of market trends, competition, and customer behavior.
- Effective time management and territory planning skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Adaptability to changing market dynamics and customer needs.
- Customer-centric approach with a strong service orientation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in sales management and customer relationship management.
- Prior experience in the agro industry is mandatory.
- Experience in distributor management, large customer handling, and channel sales.
- Knowledge of local market dynamics, products, and customer preferences.
- Proficiency in the local language is preferred.
