Job Description:

Be part of the tradition, passion, and success of Cyclone Wrestling by helping connect our program with the supporters who make it all possible.

The Coordinator of Community and Donor Engagement for Wrestling will serve as a key support resource. Working closely with the Director of Wrestling and the Head Coaches, this position will help develop and execute strategies that grow the Cyclone Wrestling fan base, strengthen donor and alumni relationships, enhance visibility of our student-athletes, and generate sponsorship and philanthropic support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support donor cultivation and steward funds for the men's and women's wrestling programs.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with local businesses, former student-athletes, wrestling families, alumni, and other wrestling supporters to expand the program's network.
  • Assist with strategy development and coordination of community engagement initiatives, alumni outreach, and donor-related events.
  • Coordinate hospitality services and logistics for donors and alumni at competitions, practices, and special events.
  • Engage with the ISU Development Office on donor pledges and maintain accurate records of donor interactions.
  • Assist in development and delivery campaign for Cyclone Wrestling's donor communications, program updates, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure compliance with University, Big 12 Conference, and NCAA policies and procedures.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in relationship building, donor stewardship, and community engagement. A commitment to exceptional constituent service, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for advancing Cyclone Wrestling are essential. This position requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and occasional travel to support competitions and engagement activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least three years of experience in community engagement, donor/constituent relations, athletics administration, or directly related work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing stakeholder or donor relationships.
  • Experience in sports administration.
  • Experience planning and coordinating community events.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
