What You’ll Do:  The Application Administrator / Systems Engineer is responsible for the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications and cloud services. This role supports engineering, development, and manufacturing systems, including CAD/CAM platforms, development toolchains, and cloud-native infrastructure across government-compliant environments.  <ul> <li>Administer and support enterprise applications, including:  </li> <li>CAD/CAM platforms (e.g., Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Mastercam)  </li> <li>Development tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines, container platforms)  </li> <li>Manage and maintain cloud environments:  </li> <li>AWS GovCloud, Azure Government (GCCH), Google Cloud (as applicable)  </li> <li>Deploy, configure, and support containerized applications:  </li> <li>Kubernetes, Docker  </li> <li>Manage application integrations, updates, and lifecycle  </li> <li>Troubleshoot application performance and user issues (Tier 2–3)  </li> <li>Implement and maintain security controls for applications and cloud systems  </li> <li>Support identity and access integration (SSO, RBAC, Entra ID, etc.)  </li> <li>Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize workflows and tooling  </li> <li>Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures  </li> <li>Support compliance requirements (CMMC, NIST 800-171, ITAR/EAR)  </li> <li>Monitor system health, performance, and availability  </li> </ul> Required Qualifications: <ul> <li>5–9+ years of experience in application administration or systems engineering  </li> <li>Experience with enterprise software platforms and lifecycle management  </li> <li>Strong knowledge of:  </li> <li>Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)  </li> <li>Linux and/or Windows server environments  </li> <li>Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)  </li> <li>Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines  </li> <li>Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills  </li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul> <li>Experience with CAD/CAM and PLM systems (NX, Teamcenter, Mastercam)  </li> <li>Experience in government or regulated cloud environments (GCCH, GovCloud)  </li> <li>Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM, etc.)  </li> <li>Experience supporting DevOps workflows  </li> <li>Security/compliance experience (CMMC, NIST, FedRAMP) </li> </ul>   Our office headquarters is located in Playa Vista, CA. This position requires in office presence.   The California annual base salary for this role is currently $140,000 - $180,000.  Pay Grades are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data.  Individual pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and internal equity. <div class="content-conclusion"><div style="text-align: left;">ITAR Compliance:</div> <div style="text-align: left;">To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
