This includes enabling a consistent, secure operating model that meets stringent regulatory and customer requirements while supporting rapid innovation and service delivery.</p> <h1>Role Summary</h1> <p>The Security Automation Engineer develops and implements automation frameworks to improve security operations, compliance, and consistency across Managed Services platforms, enabling scalable and repeatable security controls.</p> <h1>Key Responsibilities</h1> <ul> <li>Design and implement security automation using tools such as Terraform and scripting languages (Python, Bash)</li> <li>Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning workflows</li> <li>Automate deployment and configuration of security tools including HashiCorp Vault and cloud-native services</li> <li>Develop automated remediation workflows for security incidents and compliance findings</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into platform architectures</li> <li>Drive standardization of security automation patterns across environments</li> <li>Support vulnerability management and compliance automation initiatives</li> </ul> <h1>Required Qualifications and Experience</h1> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, or automation roles</li> <li>Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices</li> <li>Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management tools</li> <li>Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)</li> <li>Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps pipelines</li> <li>Familiarity with security tooling and integrations</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and automation mindset</li> <li>Relevant certifications encouraged (e.g., HashiCorp, AWS, Azure Security)</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>About InterSystems</strong></p> <p style="font-weight: 400;">InterSystems, a creative data technology provider, delivers a unified foundation for next-generation applications for healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain customers in more than 80 countries.
