Since 2011, International Justice Mission India has partnered with government stakeholders to combat human trafficking and strengthen justice systems across India.

IJM India has collaborated extensively with government departments through technical consultations, judicial colloquiums, conferences, workshops, and capacity-building trainings for district and state officials, public prosecutors, and law enforcement personnel. The organization has also served as a technical consultant for government-led bonded labour surveys and livelihood initiatives.

Role Description

IJM India is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Analyst – Public Relations Services for a contract-based remote role. The selected candidate will lead strategic communication and media engagement initiatives aimed at strengthening the organization’s public visibility, credibility, and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing PR and communication strategies, managing media relations, crafting impactful narratives, supporting internal and external communications, and monitoring campaign performance. The role also involves preparing communication reports, identifying strategic media opportunities, and ensuring messaging aligns with organizational objectives and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic public relations and communication plans.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media houses, journalists, and key stakeholders.
• Draft press releases, media briefs, talking points, and communication materials.
• Support internal communication and organizational storytelling initiatives.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage and PR campaign effectiveness.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen public engagement and brand positioning.
• Manage communication responses related to sensitive social justice issues when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in public relations, media engagement, corporate communications, or strategic communications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Mass Media, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in media relationship management and campaign execution.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid and fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in the development, human rights, or social impact sector will be an added advantage.
• Candidates should be comfortable working within a Christian faith-based organization and demonstrate alignment with the mission, values, and culture of International Justice Mission India.
