Job Description

Salesforce Developer Location: Washington, DC (onsite) Clearance: Active Secret (TS Preferred) Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 Type: Exempt About This Role A Salesforce Developer is needed to support a federal program in Washington, DC. This fully onsite role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing Salesforce applications in a secure environment. An active Secret clearance is required on day one. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and customize Salesforce applications, components, and integrations.
Build Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Visualforce pages, and automation flows.
Configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and security settings.
Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL tools.
Support platform upgrades, releases, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Troubleshoot issues, ensure data integrity, and maintain documentation.
Work within Agile or iterative development environments. Required Qualifications
Active Secret clearance (TS preferred)
3+ years of Salesforce development experience.
Bachelor in computer science or related field.
Proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce configuration.
Experience with Salesforce integrations and API development.
Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, and best practices.
Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
Experience supporting federal agencies or secure environments.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Copado, or Gearset.
Experience with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or custom application development.
