Server Administrator – Team Lead

Role: Server Administrator – Team Lead (On-Site | Navi Mumbai | Night Shift – US Hours)

We are hiring a Server Administrator – Team Lead to lead hybrid infrastructure operations for U.S.-based clients. This role requires strong technical depth across servers, virtualization, cloud, backups, automation, endpoint management (Intune + Jamf/Addigy), along with mature leadership and excellent communication skills. You will manage a team of engineers, ensure uptime, drive SLA-based delivery, and collaborate closely with network, security, and Microsoft 365 teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor server/systems engineers; drive accountability, incident ownership, and SLA performance
• Administer Windows Server (all versions) and Linux (support-level); manage VMware ESXi/vSphere & Hyper-V environments
• Lead capacity planning, clustering, failover, replication, and HA design
• Deploy and support hybrid infrastructure across Azure & AWS, including cloud migrations and hybrid connectivity
• Manage backups & DR using Veeam; perform restore tests and maintain resiliency plans
• Oversee RMM tools (N-able, ConnectWise Automate) for monitoring, patching, automation, and scripted remediation
• Own structured IT service delivery in ConnectWise Manage: tickets, projects, RCAs, change control, documentation
• Lead endpoint & device management: Intune, Jamf/Addigy, Windows/macOS/iOS/Android
• Implement zero-touch onboarding (Autopilot, ABM/DEP), compliance policies, conditional access, security baselines
• Manage endpoint security: encryption, EDR, compliance enforcement, lifecycle management
• Collaborate with Network, M365/Identity, and Security teams; maintain SOPs, diagrams, and infrastructure standards

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Servers: Windows Server (all versions), Linux (support exposure)
• Virtualization: VMware ESXi/vSphere, Hyper-V
• Cloud: Azure & AWS server deployment + hybrid connectivity
• Backup & DR: Veeam Backup & Replication
• RMM: N-able, ConnectWise Automate
• PSA: ConnectWise Manage (critical)
• Endpoint Management: Intune + Jamf or Addigy (MDM/UEM)
• Security: Compliance policies, encryption, conditional access
• Scripting: PowerShell (preferred), Bash/Python (nice to have)

Leadership & Soft Skills

• 3+ years leading or mentoring technical teams
• Strong English communication for U.S. clients and stakeholders
• Ability to lead war-room escalations and incident responses
• Highly organized, accountable, and process-driven
• Comfortable making operational decisions in real time

Shift & Work Requirements

📍 Location: On-site in Navi Mumbai

🌙 Night Shifts: Mandatory (U.S. EST/CST/PST coverage)

🤝 Client-Facing: Lead calls, escalations, migrations, and deployments

📞 On-Call: Occasional participation required
