Email / SMS Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

Insightx Media is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Email / SMS Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic digital marketing team. This role involves developing and executing targeted email and SMS campaigns to enhance client engagement, drive conversions, and optimize overall marketing performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of e-commerce, digital marketing tools, and analytics to craft compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize email and SMS marketing campaigns across various platforms to increase customer engagement and retention.
• Utilize tools such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar platforms for campaign management.
• Conduct A/B testing to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics.
• Perform keyword research and audience segmentation to tailor messaging effectively.
• Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other analytics tools; generate reports to inform future strategies.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually appealing email templates using Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and graphic design principles.
• Manage integration of email/SMS campaigns with e-commerce platforms like WordPress or Shopify.
• Implement SEO best practices within email content to enhance visibility and engagement.
• Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, Facebook Advertising, Google AdWords, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and other relevant technologies.
• Coordinate with the broader marketing team to align messaging across channels including social media advertising on Facebook and Google Ads.

Requirements

• Proven experience in email marketing, SMS campaigns, or digital marketing roles with a focus on e-commerce environments.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL for customizing campaigns and tracking data.
• Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, graphic design principles, and WordPress platform management.
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords (Google Ads), Facebook Advertising, and keyword research tools.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and how they apply to email content optimization.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
• Ability to analyze data effectively using analytics tools to inform strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling copy for diverse audiences.
• Creative mindset combined with analytical thinking; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Prior experience in digital marketing agencies or e-commerce brands is preferred but not required.
