Desktop Support Technician

Duration: 6 month contract with extensions

Hours: Mon-Thurs 10:30am-6:30pm and Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Location: West Mifflin, PA

Rate: $18-20/hr

Must haves:

• 1+ years’ experience in an IT related field
• Associate's degree or higher
• Must be able to drive to multiple locations in Allegheny County

Day to day:

Insight Global is looking for a Desktop Support Tech to sit on site in Alleghany County. The candidate will be on a team of 20 individuals overlooking 5000 computers and a number of buildings at different campuses. This candidate should be comfortable with installing software/hardware inside classrooms, fixing/troubleshooting issues on computer systems and setting up equipment used for events on campus. They will need to be able to move between campuses depending on business needs. We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of IT/tech and the ability to learn in a university setting.
