Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Skilled Cloud Infrastructure engineer to join a leading Canadian Insurance companies Cloud infrastructures team. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure, platform services, and automation capabilities across enterprise environments.

The Successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a strategic cloud transformation initiatives across the enterprise. working with Infrastructure as Code Adoption, cloud governance and platform modernization efforts. This role combines project-based delivery with operational support responsibilities, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure for both new and existing solutions.

This position requires strong expertise in Azure, Terraform Enterprise, GitHub, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, and cloud operations within highly regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, banking, healthcare, or government.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.

-Experience supporting both project delivery and production operations.

-Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code at enterprise scale.

-Strong hands on experience within Azure space working with Kubernetes

-Hands-on experience with Terraform Enterprise Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

-Strong understanding of infrastructure automation, version control, and cloud deployment methodologies.

-Experience with Ansible and infrastructure configuration management.

-Working knowledge of AWS cloud services.

-Strong server administration and infrastructure operations experience.

-Solid understanding of networking concepts, content delivery, and cloud connectivity.

-Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
