Job Description
As a Java Developer with a focus on Spring Boot at Innspark, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable applications using your expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and backend development. Your role will involve writing clean and efficient code, designing backend services, and solving problems independently. You will also work directly on client systems, some of which may be offline or restricted, requiring strong coding fundamentals.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and manage RESTful APIs and backend services
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient backend code following best practices
- Work with databases, queries, and data handling
- Integrate APIs and external/internal services
- Debug, test, and optimize application performance
- Work on client systems when required
- Maintain and enhance existing applications
- *Required Skills:**
- Strong knowledge of Core Java (OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading)
- Hands-on experience or strong understanding of Spring Boot
- Good understanding of SQL and databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle)
- Basic understanding of JDBC and database connectivity
- Knowledge of REST APIs and backend integration
- Familiarity with Git/version control
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of SDLC and coding best practices

- Experience with Hibernate/JPA
- Basic frontend understanding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with unit testing (JUnit/Mockito)
- Exposure to microservices architecture
