Role Description

The Senior Accountant - Taxation & Compliance role is a full-time position based on-site in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end GST compliance including return preparation, filing, reconciliation, and responding to notices.
• Oversee TDS deduction, payment, and filing of returns; ensure compliance with statutory timelines.
• Handle SEZ and STPI-related compliance, documentation, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and review reconciliations for GST input/output and TDS ledgers.
• Support statutory audits and liaise with auditors for compliance matters.
• Maintain accurate records of tax filings and ensure timely submissions.
• Provide guidance to junior team members on compliance processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter) or equivalent
• 4–6 years of experience in accounting and compliance, with strong exposure to GST and TDS.
• Hands-on experience with SEZ and STPI compliance preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Xero, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of Excel for reconciliations and reporting.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain compliance requirements clearly.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
