IT Security Delivery Specialist

Duration: 12-month contract with potential extension or conversion

Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite, Toronto)

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Delivery Specialist to support enterprise security operations and infrastructure initiatives within a large, complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security policies and controls across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Provision and manage firewall and network security rules to support business and application deployments.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, and security teams to develop secure and scalable solutions.
• Perform security assessments and provide recommendations to balance business requirements with security objectives.
• Support change management, documentation, and governance activities related to security implementations.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex security incidents and deployments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to security operations, automation, and policy management.
• Ensure security solutions align with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise security infrastructure or network security environments.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies: Palo Alto, Guardicore, or Netskope.
• Experience with security automation and orchestration initiatives.
• Experience working with ServiceNow and IT service management processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience with network technologies including Cisco routing and switching.
• Exposure to policy orchestration or automation tools such as Tufin.
• Experience with Zero Trust architectures and segmentation strategies.
• Relevant security certifications.

Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
