Job description
JOB SUMMARY: RSM is responsible for Sales & Market Development of our products in the assigned territory. He is also responsible for development, guidance & monitoring of Sales Team under him
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities
· Make Tour Plans for self as per tour laps and submit to Sales Head approval in beginning of the month.
· Guide ASM’s for making their tour plans & submitting such approved tour programmes to HO in the beginning of the month for approval.
· Achievement of Targets in all the assigned territories.
· Setting targets for ASM’s / Distributors / Dealers
· Travelling to markets (Distributors and Direct Dealers) in the assigned territory to analyze market scenario, competitors activities & submit feedback to company.
· Review Target Vs. Achievement of areas being handled by self as well as ASM’s on daily / weekly / monthly basis & make plans with ASM’s / concerned Distributors / Dealers accordingly for achievement.
· Timely collection of payments & communicating payment advises to HO.
· Follow-up with HO sales team for orders and coordinate with HO for execution.
· Upload OB’s (Order Booking) on CRM portal towards orders collected.
· Initial checking of warranty material at Distributors / Dealers as well as verification of complaints of short receipt etc. & timely communicating to HO.
· Take approval from HO through RSM in case any Distributor / Dealer wants return / exchange of out of warranty material.
· Appoint new Dealers under Distributor where-ever necessary after HO approvals.
· Suggesting new items for development for additional business with business potential.
· Launch of new products.
· Communication of Co. Schemes to Sales Team / Distributors / Dealers etc.
· Item wise monitoring for market development.
· Training Distributors / Dealers Sales Team.
· Visiting Dealers of OEM’s like Tata Motors etc. & provide support to them as well as feedback to HO.
· Organizing Sales Promotional activities (eg. Van Campaigns; Dealers / Mechanics meets etc.) after budgetary necessary approvals.
· Reporting to Sales Head.
