Project Engineer - Manufacturing Integration Location: Ingersoll, ON, Canada Salary: $79,400.00 – $115,900.00 annually Job Type: Full‑Time Hours: 40 hours per week Project Engineer – Manufacturing Integration is a hybrid technical leader responsible for bridging project execution and manufacturing operations.
Position Summary This role owns technical scope across the full project lifecycle—from proposal development and CAPEX planning through to production ramp‑up and continuous improvement. The position flexes between project‑based engineering work and hands‑on manufacturing/process support, ensuring seamless integration of engineering intent into efficient, compliant, and optimized production systems. The role supports the Project Manager in delivering complex programs while driving manufacturing excellence on the shop floor.

Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline) - 5+ years of manufacturing engineering and/or capital projects experience - Strong experience with CNC programming, robotics, tooling, and production systems - Experience leading technical scope within multidisciplinary projects - Experience in defence or regulated manufacturing environments considered an asset Knowledge - Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles and production processes - Understanding of CNC/NC programming, robotics, tooling, and automation systems - Knowledge of CAPEX project execution including equipment design, installation, and commissioning - Familiarity with defence and regulatory requirements (CGP, ITAR/EAR, ISO/AS9100) - Understanding of APQP, validation, and production readiness processes - Knowledge of ERP systems, project controls, and technical documentation practices Skills - Advanced problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills - Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making abilities - Proficiency in CNC programming and manufacturing process optimization - Effective project coordination and technical leadership skills - Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities - Ability to develop technical documentation, reports, and proposals Benefits - Defined contribution Pension Plan - Annual Bonus Program - Competitive Wages - Job‑security (long‑standing and growing company) - On‑the‑job training - Tuition Reimbursement - Employee Referral Program - Social Events/Activities - Years of Service Program Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen or hold a Permanent Residency.
