General Labourer - Pool Closings & Maintenance

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support our operations, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pool maintenance and pool closing visits
• Install water bags and tarps for pools
• Assist with the installation of winter safety covers or tarp covers
• Assist with removal of accessories (ladders, handrails, diving boards)
• Add appropriate closing chemicals and balance water as needed
• Assist with the closing of all pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing systems

Experience

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
• This role is seasonal - must be available to work from hire until Nov. 15th
• Required to have and wear CSA-approved safety boots.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

• Kanata, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
