As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
Role Overview:
You will be setting up end-to-end data lineage architecture and metadata frameworks. Additionally, you will build and manage a Metadata Hub and Master Data Management structure. Your role will involve creating governance artifacts such as Business Glossary, Data Catalog, CDE reports with PII tagging. Furthermore, you will be building models for data profiling, validation, and cleansing. Collaboration with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to align data models and reporting will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Your role will also include identifying data issues and addressing anomalies, performance bottlenecks, or inconsistencies. It is essential to stay updated with evolving governance tools and incorporate best practices into the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up end-to-end data lineage architecture and metadata frameworks
- Build and manage a Metadata Hub and Master Data Management structure
- Create governance artifacts like Business Glossary, Data Catalog, CDE reports with PII tagging
- Build models for data profiling, validation, and cleansing
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to align data models and reporting

Qualifications Required:
- 3-10 years of relevant experience
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and PySpark
- Experience with metadata modeling and data governance design
- Background in CS, Stats, Math, or Engineering - M. Tech, MCA, MBA, or CA
Additional Details:
