Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Workday HCM and Compensation Specialist, you will leverage your consulting expertise and knowledge of packaged solutions to configure systems that meet client objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and Configure Solutions: Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and configure Workday's core HCM and compensation modules, aligning solutions with their business strategies.
  • Deliver Implementation Projects: Take the lead on implementing Workday HCM and Compensation solutions, conducting fit analysis, performing unit tests, and providing post-deployment support to ensure successful integration.
  • Resolve Configuration Issues: Utilize your deep understanding of Workday solutions to troubleshoot and resolve any configuration or functional challenges across the core HCM and compensation modules.
  • Collaborate with Clients: Engage with clients to comprehend their business needs, offer best practice guidance, and ensure that the solutions effectively address their requirements.
  • Provide Ongoing Support: Assist clients post-implementation by addressing any issues and adapting the Workday solution to meet their evolving requirements.

This position can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with Workday HCM and compensation modules: Proven track record of implementing and supporting these modules, with a comprehensive understanding of configuration options and industry best practices.
  • Experience with Fit Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Proficient in conducting fit analysis and gathering insights to shape Workday solution design and configuration.
  • Strong Issue Resolution Skills: Demonstrated capability in addressing complex configuration and functional challenges within core HCM and compensation modules.
  • Project Leadership Experience: A history of successfully leading implementation projects for Workday HCM and Compensation, including testing and post-implementation support.
  • Business Needs Analysis: Adept at analyzing client requirements and creating aligned solutions using consulting knowledge and business acumen.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Advanced Knowledge of Workday Modules: Experience with additional Workday systems beyond core HCM and core compensation for a more comprehensive understanding of the platform.
  • Industry-Specific Compensation Knowledge: Understanding of specialized compensation practices and regulatory frameworks to tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Integration with Cloud Solutions: Familiarity with integrating Workday into other cloud-based systems, enabling the development of comprehensive client solutions.
