Position: Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Solution Architect

The Role

Hyer Tek is looking for a Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Architect with hands‑on experience building, architecting, and configuring model‑driven, D365 solutions (Customer Service, Field Service, Sales), Power Automate flows, and Dataverse solutions for our federal clients.

Requirements

  • Lead Architecture Design Sessions (ADS) and Technical Exchange Meetings (TEM) with clients, presenting solution designs and fielding technical questions from government stakeholders.
  • Design Dataverse data models, entity relationships, security architecture (business units, security roles, field‑level and row‑level security), and solution layering across client deployments.
  • Architect solutions across D365 modules — Customer Service, Field Service, Sales, and Finance — as well as Power Apps (model‑driven and canvas), Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI.
  • Define integration patterns between D365 apps, Power Platform components, Azure services, and external systems, including data flows, API design, and event‑driven architectures.
  • Own ALM and Dev Ops strategy for Power Platform solutions, including solution segmentation, environment management, CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops), and release governance.
  • Evaluate and recommend adoption of emerging Microsoft capabilities including Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Fabric, assessing federal readiness and client applicability.
  • Serve as the technical escalation point for delivery teams, resolving complex design challenges and ensuring architectural consistency across engagements.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience implementing Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365 solutions, with at least 3 years in a solution architect or technical lead role.
  • Deep expertise in Dataverse data modeling, security architecture, and solution design patterns.
  • Experience architecting solutions across multiple D365 modules (Customer Service, Field Service, Sales, or Finance).
  • Hands‑on experience with Power Platform ALM, Azure Dev Ops pipelines, and environment management strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client‑facing architecture workshops and present technical designs to senior government stakeholders.
  • Experience working in DoD or federal government environments with an understanding of IL4/IL5, GCC High, or FedRAMP constraints.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance or higher preferred

Location

This position has a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be within a commutable distance to the Washington, DC Metro area.
