Software Engineer (Data Focused)

Data Focused Software Engineering Role | Boston Based | Series A Startup!!

This is a Python-focused Software/Data Engineering opportunity with a profitable Series A startup based in Boston. You'll join a smaller team of engineers building and scaling cloud-native data pipelines that process complex datasets.

This is not a web engineering role. The focus is on data processing, infrastructure, and pipeline development, with significant exposure to the data that powers the company's product.

What You'll Work On

• Building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines in Python
• Developing cloud-native workflows using AWS Step Functions
• Deploying and managing workloads in Kubernetes
• Working directly with geospatial and raster datasets
• Improving data processing performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborating closely with a small engineering team and taking ownership of projects end-to-end

Compensation: $120k - $160k + Benefits + Equity
