We are looking for an energetic and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern to support our outbound lead generation efforts. This role is focused on identifying prospects, reaching out through multiple channels, and booking qualified meetings for the sales team.

Role Overview

This is a pure outbound-focused business development internship. The selected candidate will work on generating leads and meetings through LinkedIn outreach, cold emails, and phone calls. The goal is to create a strong pipeline of relevant prospects for HuskyVoiceAI.

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to startup sales, SaaS lead generation, business development, and AI product outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research target companies, accounts, and decision-makers
  • Build prospect lists through LinkedIn, websites, directories, and other relevant sources
  • Reach out to prospects through LinkedIn messages, email campaigns, and outbound phone calls
  • Generate qualified meetings and demos for HuskyVoiceAI
  • Follow up consistently with prospects across channels
  • Maintain accurate updates of leads, outreach activity, and meeting status in CRM / tracking systems
  • Understand HuskyVoiceAI’s use cases and value proposition well enough to pitch them clearly
  • Support outbound campaigns for selected industries and customer segments
  • Work closely with the founders / sales team to improve messaging, targeting, and conversion
  • Capture feedback from prospects and share market insights from outreach conversations

Required Skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Willingness to work from office in HSR Layout, Bengaluru

Language Proficiency

  • English: Mandatory
  • Hindi: Preferred
  • South Indian languages such as Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam: Added advantage

Preferred Qualities

  • Good communication and persuasion skills
  • Ability to write crisp, personalized outreach emails and messages
  • Confidence in making outbound calls
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn quickly
  • Positive attitude and resilience while handling rejections
  • Prior internship or exposure in sales, telecalling, customer interaction, or lead generation is a plus, but not mandatory

Stipend Structure

Total stipend: ₹15,000 per month

  • ₹13,000 fixed stipend
  • ₹2,000 performance-linked variable, based on agreed activity and meeting generation targets
