As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern at HuskyVoiceAI, you will play a key role in supporting outbound lead generation efforts. Your responsibilities will include identifying prospects, reaching out through various channels, and booking qualified meetings for the sales team.
- Identify and research target companies, accounts, and decision-makers
- Build prospect lists through LinkedIn, websites, directories, and other relevant sources
- Reach out to prospects through LinkedIn messages, email campaigns, and outbound phone calls
- Generate qualified meetings and demos for HuskyVoiceAI
- Follow up consistently with prospects across channels
- Maintain accurate updates of leads, outreach activity, and meeting status in CRM/tracking systems
- Support outbound campaigns for selected industries and customer segments
- Work closely with the founders/sales team to improve messaging, targeting, and conversion
- Capture feedback from prospects and share market insights from outreach conversations
You should be a student or fresh graduate interested in sales, business development, startups, or B2B SaaS. Candidates who are proactive, disciplined, comfortable with outbound communication, enjoy research, and driving conversations toward meetings are encouraged to apply.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- Confidence in reaching out to prospects over phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Good internet research and prospecting ability
- High ownership and consistency in follow-up
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Willingness to work from the office in HSR Layout, Bengaluru
English proficiency is mandatory, while knowledge of Hindi is preferred and South Indian languages such as Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam are considered an added advantage.
Preferred qualities include good communication and persuasion skills, ability to write personalized outreach emails and messages, confidence in making outbound calls, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and resilience in handling rejections. Prior internship or exposure in sales, telecalling, customer interaction, or lead generation is a plus but not mandatory.
Performance in this internship will be evaluated based on the quality and relevance of prospect research, outreach volume across various channels, follow-up consistency, response and engagement rates, number of qualified meetings booked, and accuracy in CRM/lead tracking.
