Senior UI/UX Designer

Who We're Looking For Design is how we win projects at Huptech Web. So we are looking for a creative leader who can own the entire design department and make it our biggest strength.

We need someone who

• Is a strong designer who can also lead a team of 6 members
• Has 5-8 years of hands-on experience with a strong eCommerce portfolio (web and mobile)
• Uses AI tools daily as part of their design workflow
• Can build design systems and processes from scratch
• Can teach, guide, and grow juniors into strong designers
• Takes ownership of quality, deadlines, and team output What You Will Do - Lead a design team of 6 members (mix of fresher to 7 years experience)
• Review every design before it goes to the PM, PC, or client
• Build a proper design system and process for the department
• Run daily standups and plan team workload around deadlines
• Train the team on AI design tools like Figma AI, Stitch, Lovable, v0, Midjourney
• Design yourself when the project needs top-level creativity or when the team needs a push
• Join client calls when needed to present designs and understand requirements directly
• Work with developers and marketing team to make sure designs are practical and business-ready
• Stay updated with design trends and AI tools, and apply them in real projects Technical Skills You Should Have - Proficiency in Figma (auto layout, variants, components, design systems) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). XD or Sketch is a plus.
• Deep understanding of eCommerce UX: PLP, PDP, cart, checkout, search, merchandising, and funnel optimization
• Experience designing for Shopify (2.0 themes, sections, components) and/or WooCommerce
• Basic understanding of how designs translate into development (HTML/CSS concepts; no coding required)
• Strong grasp of responsive design, usability, and accessibility (WCAG guidelines)
• Familiarity with GA4, heatmaps, session recordings, and CRO workflows
• Experience with email flow and template design is a plus
• Logo design, branding, and brand guideline creation
• Animation and micro-interactions for modern web experiences
• Ability to write clear UX microcopy (CTA labels, error states, onboarding tips) is a bonus
• Heavy usage of AI tools for both design and graphics work Leadership and People Skills - Proven experience managing design teams or leading complex design projects
• Ability to guide team leads while keeping oversight of the full design team
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience with project management tools and handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Portfolio is a Must Please share a portfolio with:
• 2-3 detailed eCommerce or web design case studies
• Your thought process behind the design, not just the final screens
• Which AI tools did you use, and how
• Results or client feedback, if possible We want to see how you think, not just what you have made.
