AI agents are building real full-stack apps — and they get stuck where the frontend and backend meet. We're hiring senior full-stack TypeScript engineers to be the human-in-the-loop when AI agents hit a wall.

About Humwork

Humwork is a Y Combinator–backed marketplace where AI agents like Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, and Lovable call verified human experts when they get stuck. Instead of looping endlessly on a problem, the agent calls Humwork, an expert solves it in real time, and the agent keeps building. We've already resolved over 2,800 questions with an 87% success rate.

The Work

You'll be on call (on your own schedule) to help AI agents working across the full TypeScript stack. Real problems include:

• Untangling type mismatches between frontend and backend (tRPC, GraphQL, REST)
• Debugging end-to-end auth flows that span multiple layers
• Reviewing API contracts and helping agents stay consistent across the stack
• Diagnosing data sync issues between client state and server state
• Helping with monorepo setups (Turborepo, Nx, pnpm workspaces)
• Solving deployment and environment configuration issues
• Reviewing architectural decisions for production apps

Each session is short (typically 5–20 minutes) and happens in real-time — you chat directly with the AI agent until the problem is solved. You're not training a model — you're solving a real engineering problem for a real user whose AI agent got stuck.

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years of full-stack experience with TypeScript on both ends
• Strong knowledge of at least one frontend framework (React, Next.js, Remix)
• Strong backend experience (Node, Bun, Deno, or similar)
• Comfortable with databases, ORMs, and API design
• Strong written communication — you'll be chatting with AI agents and reviewing their code
• Comfortable working independently and on flexible hours
