Job description
Hubble Network was founded with the intention of delivering on the promise of what Internet-of-Things (IoT) was supposed to be. We're building a global Bluetooth® network dedicated to machine-to-machine connectivity. We differentiate ourselves as the first modem-less and gateway-less, direct-to-satellite network from off-the-shelf Bluetooth® Low Energy chips. Hubble is ideal for applications in logistics, AgTech, and maritime where economies of scale for volume consumer and enterprise asset tracking is a priority. Our goal is to be the first billion-endpoint-connected network in the world.
Hubble is an early-stage, venture-backed startup supported by some of the best investors in the world. In their previous lives, the founding team has been successful in raising $100s of millions in venture funding, developing the Amazon Sidewalk network, launching billions of dollars of space assets, and leading their teams to successful exits, both through acquisition and IPO. We are now looking to bring on talented team members who are the best at what they do to help us make Hubble a reality for the world.
Hubble Network is hiring a Senior Sourcing & Talent Partner to lead the company's sourcing strategy and candidate pipeline development. This is a sourcing-first and highly strategic role for someone who genuinely loves sourcing; energized by identifying exceptional talent, understands talent markets deeply, and is passionate about building relationships with people long before a role officially opens.
This is not a reactive recruiting role focused primarily on managing inbound applicants or interview coordination. We are looking for someone who sees sourcing as a craft and a competitive advantage, not a transaction. Someone who can take a 30-minute intake conversation with a hiring manager and leave with a clear understanding of where the right talent exists, how to reach them, and how to position Hubble effectively against the market.
You will own a proactive outbound sourcing strategy across technical and non-technical functions, helping shape how Hubble identifies, engages, and attracts top talent as we scale. The expectation is that you operate with a high degree of autonomy, strong business judgment, and relentless curiosity around people, markets, and talent ecosystems.
The ideal candidate is highly resourceful, organized, and deeply persistent. Someone who builds pipelines before they are needed, develops relationships before there is a headcount approved, and constantly thinks about where the next great hire may come from.
What You’ll Own
Strategic Sourcing & Talent Mapping
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies across technical and business functions.
- Build talent maps, market research, and competitive intelligence around key hiring areas.
- Identify and engage high-value passive candidates across LinkedIn Recruiter, niche communities, industry networks, Colleges, referrals, and adjacent industries.
- Build and maintain long-term sourcing pipelines for both active and anticipated hiring needs.
- Continuously test and refine outbound messaging, sourcing channels, and engagement strategies.
Talent Partnership & Hiring Strategy
- Partner directly with hiring managers and Department Heads to deeply understand role requirements, organizational dynamics, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Influence hiring strategy through market insight, pipeline data, and talent availability realities.
- Help shape job descriptions and role positioning to improve sourcing effectiveness and candidate engagement.
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on talent landscape trends, sourcing challenges, and competitive hiring dynamics.
Pipeline Development & Candidate Engagement
- Build authentic long-term relationships with passive talent.
- Develop sourcing outreach that feels personalized, thoughtful, and compelling rather than transactional.
- Create consistent top-of-funnel activity and healthy candidate pipelines across priority business areas.
- Ensure strong candidate experience and communication throughout early-stage engagement.
Recruiting Infrastructure & Process Improvement
- Maintain strong sourcing hygiene and pipeline management within Greenhouse.
- Develop sourcing playbooks, talent intelligence documentation, and best practices.
- Improve sourcing workflows, reporting, tracking, and recruiting operational rigor as the company scales.
- Partner with recruiting and operations teams to continuously improve hiring effectiveness and speed.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of recruiting experience with a strong emphasis on proactive sourcing and outbound talent engagement.
- Experience supporting technical hiring in startup or scale-up environments.
- Demonstrated success sourcing high-caliber passive talent in competitive or niche markets.
- Familiarity with Greenhouse reporting, pipeline analytics, and recruiting operations.
- Strong talent mapping and research capabilities.
- Deep familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools/platforms.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect talent strategy to business priorities.
- Excellent written communication skills; able to craft compelling outreach that converts.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple pipelines simultaneously.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing hiring direction through market insights and sourcing expertise.
- High degree of autonomy, persistence, curiosity, and ownership mentality.
Nice to Have
- Experience building sourcing functions, playbooks, or recruiting infrastructure from the ground up.
- Experience with talent branding or strategic outbound campaigns.
- Multiple sourcing tools & platforms
- Space/satellite/deep tech industry knowledge
What Success Looks Like in Year One
- Hubble develops proactive sourcing pipelines ahead of hiring demand rather than reacting to open requisitions.
- High-quality passive candidates are consistently entering the funnel across key functions.
- Department Heads view sourcing as a strategic capability and competitive advantage.
- Outreach conversion rates, pipeline quality, and sourcing efficiency materially improve.
- Recruiting pipelines become healthier, more predictable, and less dependent on inbound applicants.
- Hubble becomes increasingly well-networked within the talent communities most critical to the business.
