As an Analyst Regulatory Reporting at HSBC, you will be part of a global team responsible for ensuring key controls to reduce HSBCs regulatory risk related to Over-the-counter and Exchange-Traded Derivatives Trade & Transaction Reporting. Your role involves working closely with various stakeholders to meet reporting obligations for regulations such as HKMA, ASIC/MAS, MIFID, EMIR, SFTR, CFTC, CSA, and SEC. Your responsibilities will include implementing and monitoring controls, addressing reporting risks, creating management information dashboards, and responding to counterparty queries. You will also manage audit and business queries within agreed Service Level Agreement response time.
To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in banking/finance/risk management and possess a strong understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle and OTC Derivative products. Additionally, you should have a solid foundation in risk management principles, awareness of global regulatory landscape, and technical understanding of regulatory reporting processes. Proficiency in ETL tools, coding skills in VBA, Python, SQL, and experience in a risk/control environment within a global Investment Bank/Financial Institution will be beneficial.
