Role Overview:
As a Regional Sales Manager at Ashirvad, your role is crucial in managing sales of the company's products in the defined geographic area. Your primary responsibility is to ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues. You will be tasked with identifying objectives, strategies, and action plans to maximize short- and long-term sales & earnings while promoting Ashirvads presence in the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, execution, and activation of sales activities within your area to achieve revenue and market share goals.
- Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
- Collaborate with AGM/RGM to develop sales strategies for improving market share in all product lines.
- Monitor area sales, analyze variances, and develop & implement area-specific sales action plans for revenue growth.
- Perform sales activities for major accounts, negotiate sales prices, and discounts in consultation with AGM/RGM.
- Drive and monitor distributor performance on sales metrics, on-time delivery, and query resolution.
- Provide recommendations on new distributor appointment and distributor management system.
- Track and record activity on accounts, help close deals to meet targets, and manage channel development for primary and secondary sales.
- Expand channel management and provide inputs to the regional branding execution manager for brand initiatives in the area.
- Implement area-specific trade promotional/branding/marketing initiatives for maximum visibility through marketing and promotion activities.
- Conduct influencer engagement programs such as sales promotion activities and key plumber/architect/consultant meets.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors Degree in any field.
- 3-7 years of experience in sales and marketing roles.
- Skills & Knowledge: Problem-solving and analytical skills, good oral and written communication, presentation skills, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ability to build relationships, influencing, and negotiation ability.
