Job Summary

This role is responsible for supporting the development of current software solutions and services using cloud software development techniques. As a part of software cloud engineering team, the role designs, deploys, and manages cloud infrastructure components such as virtual machines, containers, storage, networking, and security configurations. The role diagnoses and resolves technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and services, providing timely support to maintain optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

Designs and develops solutions that protect and manage cloud native apps and data.

Develops and coordinates cloud architecture over various areas, including application development, identity and access management, network and data management, and security.

Collaborates with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.

Ensures effective functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.

Stores, retrieves, and manipulates data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.

Works with senior engineers in the design and deployment of software in cloud environments.

Contributes to technology strategy and engineering roadmaps around cloud platforms; executes strategic engineering proof of concepts around cloud platforms.

Executes job using Test Driven Development (TDD) approach, and supports continuous integration and continuous deployment patterns.

Works independently on moderate scope problems, applying qualified expertise, exercising judgment, and resolving various issues by following company policies and procedures.
