We are hiring a passionate and detail-oriented Associate Software Engineer with strong analytical abilities and a keen interest in web technologies, content analysis, and data quality processes. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a logical mindset, and foundational knowledge of Regular Expressions, HTML, and CSS. This role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale web data projects involving URL analysis, content evaluation, web crawling, and quality-driven decision-making while collaborating with global teams.

What You'll Do

Your mission is to ensure the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of web data through detailed analysis, content evaluation, and process-driven decision making.

Web Content & URL Analysis

• Analyze crawl URLs and evaluate their relevance based on user value and web quality standards.
• Review website content and URL structures to identify optimization opportunities.
• Determine whether URLs contribute meaningful value to search and user experience.
• Document findings with clear and detailed justifications.

Regular Expression & Content Curation

• Utilize Regular Expressions (Regex) to identify, categorize, and curate irrelevant or low-value URLs.
• Create and maintain regex-based rules for efficient content filtering and URL classification.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in URL evaluation processes.

Data Quality & Project Delivery

• Deliver assigned project tasks within defined timelines while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project guidelines.
• Participate in quality reviews and continuously improve output standards.

Issue Resolution & Collaboration

• Identify, investigate, and resolve project-related issues and bugs based on business priorities.
• Route tickets and escalations to relevant teams whenever necessary.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders through project forums and collaboration channels.

Research & Optimization

• Conduct keyword research aligned with client business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to optimize existing content and discover new areas for improvement.
• Support content enhancement initiatives through data-driven insights and analysis.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Maintain detailed records of analysis, judgments, and project decisions.
• Create and update process documentation, best practices, and knowledge repositories.
• Share insights and recommendations to improve project efficiency and quality outcomes.

Job responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic knowledge of Regular Expressions (Regex), HTML, and CSS.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Logical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze and interpret website content and URL structures.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Team player with excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication abilities.

Good to Have Knowledge:

• Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) concepts such as indexing, ranking, metadata, keyword analysis, and web content optimization.
• Familiarity with web crawling concepts and crawler behavior.
• Basic understanding of algorithms such as BFS (Breadth-First Search) and DFS (Depth-First Search).
• Experience using website analysis tools, browser extensions, and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of content evaluation and web data quality standards.
