Job Description

  • Role: IT Support Specialist
  • Location: Remote
  • Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $55,000 – $85,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.

Role Overview

We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to handle second-line technical support and own systems administration tasks. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with the discipline to maintain the systems the company runs on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve escalated tickets that the help desk couldn't close
  • Administer SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Okta)
  • Manage device fleet, including provisioning, MDM, and lifecycle
  • Implement and maintain identity, access, and basic security controls
  • Document procedures and improve IT runbooks
  • Partner with security and engineering on systems improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years in IT support, sysadmin, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and major SaaS platforms
  • Experience with MDM tools (Jamf, Kandji, Intune)
  • Familiarity with identity providers (Okta, Azure AD)
  • Working knowledge of networking, DNS, and basic security principles
  • Comfortable scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
