Job description

Join us on our journey and help us create our new unannounced IP. We are seeking a Level Designer who is passionate about creating engaging and challenging combat experiences and locations players will love to explore. The ideal candidate should be curious, invested, and excited about experimenting with innovative ideas to create both the big and little moments in the game world that enhance the narrative and make it come to life.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with all development disciplines to create memorable experiences for players, through the iterative process, from inception to final.
  • Design and construct map layouts and work closely with Writers and Level Artists to place, balance, and connect missions, stories, and gameplay concepts to ensure a cohesive experience.
  • Initiate frequent map reviews to promote teamwork and refinement of the levels.
  • Create and maintain presentations and documentation for all Level Design related content.
  • Design and create interesting and challenging combat encounters and arenas, combining and proposing a set of tools and ingredients to provide spectacular and entertaining experiences for the player.

The Skills We’re Looking For:

  • Experience using Unreal Engine 5 is a strong asset.
  • Experience with combat design or boss fights is also a strong asset.
  • Professional experience in game development with a design-focused portfolio.
  • Skilled in 3D world editing and visual scripting tools with Unreal Engine
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
  • Experience developing content focused on scripted, systemic, and emerging moments.
  • Self-motivated and curious attitude, flexible and collaborative with all development disciplines.
  • Knowledge and passion for games, with a desire to push and deliver unique and fun experiences.
  • Demo reel is a nice-to-have.
