About Us: Highcrest Trading is a fast-growing FMCG distribution and marketing company in Kerala, specializing in premium tea, coffee, and spices. We are the proud marketers of the Sahya brand portfolio, along with our own flagship brands like Keralachai and Kappicoffee. As we expand our direct distribution network, we are looking for highly motivated and energetic Van Sales Representatives to join our field team.
Role Overview: As a Van Sales Representative, you will be on the front lines of our business, driving our company vehicle to manage Direct Store Deliveries (ready stock sales) across assigned routes. You will be responsible for placing our products in retail shops, bakeries, and A-class supermarkets while achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route Sales & Delivery: Safely drive the company delivery vehicle along assigned routes in Idukki or Ernakulam to fulfill daily beat plans.
- Ready Stock Sales: Conduct direct sales and immediate delivery of Sahya and Highcrest products to retail outlets and supermarkets.
- Market Expansion: Identify and onboard new retail shops and grocery stores within your assigned territory to expand our market reach.
- Merchandising: Ensure our tea, coffee, and spice products get prime shelf placement and high visibility in stores.
- Payment Collection: Collect cash and manage credit/outstanding dues from shop owners efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Load and unload stock, and keep an accurate daily tally of van inventory.
- Reporting: Submit an accurate Daily Sales Report (DSR) to the corporate office at the end of each working day.
Requirements
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in FMCG field sales, van sales, or direct store delivery. (Experience in tea, coffee, or spices is a strong advantage).
- Driving License: Must possess a valid driving license (LMV / Commercial badge preferred, depending on the delivery vehicle).
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the local retail markets and grocery routes in either Idukki , Ernakulam and Kottayam districts.
- Language: Fluency in Malayalam; basic understanding of English is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical tasks, including loading and unloading FMCG stock.
