ROLE: Personal Support Worker |Home Care Client | Up to 12 HR Day Shifts| North York, ON
Start Date- November 8, 2025
Wage- $24/HR
Day shifts starting at 8:00 AM (up to 12 hours)

HERO CARE has a proven track record in providing our contract/travel nurses with a variety of exciting, positive and unique working experiences. Our team is now expanding our staffing services to provide contracts to Personal Support Workers across Canada!
QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY:
- 1 YEAR MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AS A Personal Support Worker
- Must be ability to operate under pressured under a moments notice
- Vulnerable Sector Screen renewed within the year
- Professional Liability Insurance OPSWA
SKILLS & ABILITY:
- Overall competency in working under pressure
- Experience in providing general care and support
- Knowledge of home care services
- Proficient in communication
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Following the care plan, observing and reporting any substantial findings and/or changes in patient/resident/client’s behaviour to the appropriate registered member of the healthcare team.
- Perform tasks delegated to them (only if they are trained to perform the delegated task)
- Assisting with ambulation, positioning, and transferring using mechanical lifts such as a Hoyer lift.
- Assisting or providing total personal care such as toileting, bathing, and perineal care.
- Assisting with eating, dressing, and grooming.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Provide personal care and support for clients recovering from surgery
- Assist with mobility, hygiene, and comfort needs
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Must comply with:
- Human Resource, Corporation, and Department Policies
- Must provide satisfactory vulnerable sector check
- Must have relevant experience and education/certification
